Great practicing ! You are really having fun with that pen. Have you thought about making a list of 5 to 6 expressions and then portraying them ? Challenge can open insights for you, and be fun when the subject matter can include 'reprehensible joy of sleeping late' types of expressions. :-P

Funny you should mention that, I was actually thinking of posting a list of 30 words or expressions and drawing a face per day to go with each one. Of course, it wouldn't be just one a day since I can never do just one of anything. And that reprehensible one would be first.

What do you mean intimating in your post at EDM? You have absolutely NO reason to be (I think it's intimidated) by anyone. I love the freedom in your work; the beautifully expressiveness of your sketches is something that I have to work so HARD at!! You have nothing to be intimidated about, believe me.

Well, it's my personality I know. I'm very hard on myself. I guess everyone is to some extent. But I'm working on it. And I did say it's less intimidating and more inspiring. And I used to be able to spell. I think it's one of those things that go as you get older.

Just trippin' through your blog again tonight . . . you know the three portraits on the top here, the ones who are bending at the neck, are really terrific!! Really, I think they are better than the Trip (?) guys and the reason is the expression in their postures. I agree with Steve - keep practicing and keep this up.
